Writing Process

When I wright I generally start by hand writing all my ideas on paper. There’s little to no organization on my thoughts I just like to put them out there, and see everything written down. From there I will start to organize. I’ll take a new sheet of paper and rewrite all my thoughts and facts by hand. At this point most of my words are just general information, that I will eventually expand upon.
Most of my ideas come from personal memories or knowledge. Other people’s work can also inspire me and help me reform better ideas of my own. My ideas come from art work, listing to other people, nature. Most of my ideas come from the life around me.
I would not normally just sit down and write because personally I am not a writer. However, if I was given a specific subject I had to write about, I would have to do some research before I started writing. Just like starting a new piece of art I have to get all my thoughts out on paper and see the best route to complete the task.
Most likely where I would go to write would be my room. I think being creative is a very personal thing. Being in my room allows me to focus and feel like my most creative self. I would often turn on some sort of music to put myself in a relaxed state of mind.

I think I write best between three to seven. I’m not able to create first thing in the morning because I’m not fully there. Late at night I find myself too scatter brained and surrounded by distractions. Mid-day is best for me because I feel the most relaxed. I love the point in the day where the sun is setting. Things start to wind down and everything seems calm.
